East Java, Indonesia (2006 - 2007)
As I have said in previous page, in Surabaya (Indonesia) I worked in an engineering consultant (see: My profile). What I have done? Together with my friends in the same consultant, we collected information, identified, analyzed, or even designed on spesific topic depends on scope of the project. Information needed for the project was composed of primary and secondary information. The secondary one can be obtained from data which are already exist e.g. from statistics institution, articles, papers, and research publication. The primary information should be gained from the field directly. In order to collect information from the field, we executed all these surveys.
Of course, we can't say these surveys are "ideal". In fact, an ideal survey would need minimum at least two months for one point area just to collect the data. Let's say, it's such as "win-win surveys" which was aimed to meet the requirement as stated in "Term of Reference (TOR)" and fulfill the expectation of "all parties" related to the project.
Overall, these surveys were grouped into five big parts. They are:
Part 1: Tanggulangin in Sidoarjo
Part 2: Situbondo and Probolinggo
Part 3: Bojonegoro, Tuban, and Gresik
Part 4: Batu and Malang
Part 5: Tulungagung and Mojokerto
If you see the map above, you'll find the location of each area in East Java Province, Indonesia.
